Frequently
Asked
Questions
about Training |
1.
|
Who
should our Agency send to Training? |
|
Answer: |
For TRAMS Back Office (TBO) we recommend that you send your
Back Office Accounting Manager. For ClientBase, we recommend
your ClientBase Facilitator and your Database Administrator. |
|
2. |
Can't
I just learn how to use TRAMS Back Office or ClientBase by using
the WebEx Training modules only? |
|
Answer:
|
This
is a very common question. The WebEx live classes and recorded
modules are design to supplement the material used in the 2 day
training. Working through the material without the base of the
training class makes the process more challenging. To get the
greatest benefit from use of our programs, we strongly
recommend hands-on training at one of our facilities. |

|
Where
is Introductory Training located? |
|
Answer: |
We have two locations - Los Angeles and Chicago. For your convenience,
a listing of each location including hotel information can be
found here. |
|
4. |
How
much does Introductory Training cost? |
|
Answer: |
It's FREE! You just pay for your flight, if necessary. Also,
we have also made special arrangements with the nearby hotels
to provide training attendees with a TRAMS rate - be sure to
ask what it is when making reservations. |

|
Should
become familiar with TRAMS Back Office or ClientBase prior to
training? |
|
Answer: |
Absolutely! On our website under the training link, you will
find loads of information and training materials, including
the Pre-Training Tutorial for TRAMS Back Office, and the ClientBase
Overview for Users, and ClientBase Overview for Administrators.
It is strongly recommended that you read these before attending
class.
Don’t have the time to read through these? Also on our
website under the training link is a one-hour WebEx overview
class on both TBO and ClientBase.
These are great tools. Our trainers expect that you have some
knowledge of the programs when you arrive.Your time away from
the office is valuable -- so get the most from your investment
by being prepared. |
|
| Answer: |
Yes. Each person has their own computer to work on. |
|
7. |
Is it okay to bring my questions? |
|
| Answer:
|
By
all means, bring your questions. Then, check them off as they get answered.
We've designed the class for a group atmosphere, and we've also learned
that 99% of your questions are answered during training. We'll address
unique issues outside of training. |
8.
|
Am
I expected to remember everything from training? |
|
Answer:
|
Of
course not. We supply workbooks, and you have manuals, help
screens, support, plus agency appointment sheets for any questions
that come up after training. Don't forget about our WebEx training
sessions and recorded trainings. |

Will
we talk about Interfacing in TBO class? |
|
Answer:
|
In
the course of introducing you to TRAMS Back Office (TBO), we
need to talk about what TBO captures, and what the system does
with that information. With this in mind, unfortunately, we
will not have time to go into depth about Interfacing.
However, TRAMS does offer telephone appointments for your specific
GDS. E-mail interface@trams.com
or support@trams.com
to get an appointment sheet. |
