The entertainment capital of the world, Vegas is a city full of passion, exuberance and entertainment. It is also the gambling conclave of the world with casinos sweeping the entire city. The Las Vegas Strip is a 4.5 mi (7.2km) stretch of the Las Vegas Boulevard. It is famous for its lavish casino resorts, glitzy shows, family attractions, shopping and a world of varied dining options. These preferences range from highly rated upscale restaurants to traditional casual dining offering rich American fare.

Las Vegas Climate Information

The weather in Las Vegas is marked with warm summers, balmy winters and plentiful sunlight year-round with little rain. The temperature may rise to about 90 °F in the months of May, June and September, and usually surpasses to 100 °F in the months of July and August. From December to May, the mountains adjoining the city receive winter snow, but it seldom snows in the city itself. Las Vegas also records a relatively low humidity of under 10% and an annual rainfall of 4.5 in (114 mm) between the months of January to March.

The evening temperature dips to between 86°F and 68°F in November and December. The evenings are mostly cool and pleasant because of the desert climate.
