ARC/CAS Test – Certification/Recertification (Sonoran A/B)
ARC will be available to proctor a CAS test for TRAMS Summer Camp participants who want to become CAS certified and for those who want to re-certify.
The TRAMS Summer Camp CAS rate is $75. Complete the CAS Application Packet available on ARC’s website. At the bottom of page 2, under City Code, enter TRAMS Summer Camp and 8/13/04. The form and payment for the CAS test must be received at ARC by July 30, 2004. Agents are also advised to download and study Document 26, the CAS Question Pool before taking the exam.
A friendly reminder……….. "Section 21 of the Industry Agents' Handbook and the CAS Agreement you signed upon entering the CAS program requires you to take and pass the CAS exam every four (4) years to remain certified. Failure to accomplish this prior to the expiration date on your certificate (YYMMDD format) may make you ineligible for the CAS program for a period of six months. This can have serious consequences for the agency where you work if you are the agency's CAS Qualifier - up to and including loss of ARC accreditation.
Please visit our Web site and read the CAS Frequently Asked Questions. They will help you to understand today's CAS program, determine the best way to meet your responsibilities, and help you to satisfy this requirement.
Questions? Please call our CAS Registrar at (703) 816-8523 or (703) 816-5115.
