ClientBase Online

We wanted to give you a quick update on some exciting new development that is going on at TRAMS. For the last several months we have been working on a new web based version of ClientBase that provides a powerful remote access solution that we are calling ClientBase Online. This version of ClientBase is accessed through the Sabre portal and will appear as a tab in both MySabre and Vacation Studio effective 4/16/08.

Unlike our existing applications, which all connect to an InterBase database, this new web version of ClientBase connects to an Oracle database. As a result, our first release of ClientBase Online will be a limited offering, and only available to agencies that do not yet use any TRAMS, Inc. applications, including ClientBase Windows (formerly ClientBase Plus), ClientBase Browser or TRAMS Back Office. As a current TRAMS/ClientBase subscriber, ClientBase Online will be offered as an optional add-on solution once we have completed a synchronization routine between InterBase and Oracle. Until this synchronization routine is complete, the ClientBase Online tab for you will be nothing more than a marketing/informational page that describes our ClientBase offerings and provides links to additional information.

If your agency uses either MySabre or Vacation Studio, please pass this message on to the agents in your office to avoid any confusion on 4/17/08 when this ClientBase Online tab appears.

We will keep you apprised of our progress with our synchronization routine, and look forward to offering you yet another robust solution for your remote access challenges.
