VERY IMPORTANT Sync Agency information:
If you are upgrading to ClientBase Windows 3.06 from an older version of ClientBase and your database synchronizes with one or more databases and your agency relies heavily on Reminders, it is highly recommended that you upgrade the primary database and all copy databases on the same day. This is due to the UTC conversion that runs with the CBPlusUp.exe. If there is a delay updating the databases, updates to open reminders could be lost.
IMPORTANT Sabre User Information: If you are currently running Sabre for Windows, this version is now in sunset and not compatible with ClientBase version 3.06 and higher.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Step One: Download and run the ClientBase Update to upgrade the ClientBase exe (program) on the ClientBase Server. If utilizing Terminal Services or Citrix, you must use add/remove programs to install the update file.
Step Two: Go to Start|All Programs|TRAMS|CB+ Database Update to upgrade the database.
Step Three: Run the ClientBase update to upgrade the ClientBase exe (program) at each workstation.
Please review the release notes and do a back up before doing any kind of upgrade. To backup your database go to Programs|TRAMS|TRAMS Backup Restore. Also, be sure everyone is logged out of both ClientBase and Trams Back Office when following step 2 and upgrading your database.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Due to database compatibility, this ClientBase Update must be coordinated with CBB 2.3.0 or higher. If you do not coordinate your CBW and CBB upgrades, upon logging into CBB you will receive an error message explaining that the database is not compatible.
